Question by: Todd W on Jul 31, 2025, 11:10 AM
motor puts out 735 newton meters of torque -- is that enough to run a trencher without bogging down under load?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 1, 2025, 7:22 PM
For trencher applications, 735 Nm is a solid torque figure and this motor is actually listed for trencher use. The Geroler design is known for holding efficiency under load, so you're not giving up a lot of energy to heat or internal losses. It's cast iron construction, which holds up when things get rough. That combination of high torque and efficient internals is generally what keeps a trencher from lugging down mid-cut.

Got a mower rig that needs a low-speed motor, is this Char-Lynn 6000 one meant for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 28, 2025, 6:54 AM
For equipment like mowing, snow removal, sprayers, trenchers, and wood products machinery, this motor is a common fit since it is a low-speed Geroler style built for mobile equipment use.
