CHAR-LYNN MOTOR

Description & Features

Built on Eaton Char-Lynn's 2000 Series Geroler design, this cast iron hydraulic motor delivers a torque rating of 1,480 Nm and supports flow rates up to 150 litres per minute, making it well suited for demanding mobile equipment applications including snow removal, mowing, spraying, trenching, and wood processing machinery.

The Char-Lynn Motor is available in standard, wheel, and bearingless configurations to suit a range of mounting and drive requirements. Its Geroler displacement mechanism contributes to high mechanical efficiency, and the motor's pressure drop characteristics are among the lowest in its class. The cast iron housing provides durable construction for use in field environments where reliability under continuous load is essential.

Question by: Terry B on May 22, 2025, 2:04 PM
what kind of equipment is this motor typically running on? asking cause we got a trencher and a mower both needing motors and tryin to figure out if one part works for both
Answer by: Customer Support on May 24, 2025, 7:45 AM
Mobile equipment like trenchers and mowers are both well within what this motor is built for. Snow removal and sprayer applications are also on the list, so it covers a pretty wide range of working machines. One motor family, multiple jobs.
