Question by: Shawn W on Jul 22, 2025, 8:57 AM
got a snow removal rig and a mowing setup both needing wheel motors, this one rated to handle that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 24, 2025, 7:51 AM
Both of those fall squarely within what this motor was built for. Snow removal and mowing are listed applications, and the cast iron build holds up well under the kind of repetitive, outdoor use those machines put on a drivetrain. The 1445 newton meter torque rating gives it plenty of muscle for either job, and the Geroler design keeps pressure drop low so you're not burning extra energy just to move the motor. It also comes ready for wheel or bearingless configurations, so fitting it into either machine shouldn't require a workaround.
Question by: Chad W on Jul 31, 2025, 8:37 AM
Will this Char-Lynn motor hold up okay if I'm using it pretty much all day, every day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 1, 2025, 9:56 AM
Designed for demanding industrial tasks, this motor boasts a robust cast iron construction, which should lend itself to a decent service life even with near-constant use.
