A brass 90° elbow adapter with a 5/16 in. NPTF male end and a 1/4 in. push-to-connect female end, the Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter is designed for use with a wide range of flexible tubing types, including nylon, polyethylene, PVC, and polyurethane up to 90A durometer. The 90° configuration suits installations where a directional change is needed within a confined or angled routing path.
Built under the Eaton Aeroquip Weatherhead line, this adapter features Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance and is rated for operating pressures above SAE standards. The push-to-connect end simplifies installation by eliminating the need for additional fittings or tools on the tubing side, while the NPTF male thread provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal at the port connection.

Question by: Cody R on Mar 25, 2025, 10:59 AM
Will this adapter work with nylon tubing, or is it just for harder stuff?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 26, 2025, 5:52 PM
Yes, this Eaton Aeroquip adapter is designed for use with tubing ranging from nylon to 90A durometer polyurethane, and also polyethylene and PVC.
Question by: Glen M on Sep 9, 2025, 8:12 PM
what kind of tubing does this fitting actually work with? got nylon and some polyurethane lines running on the same machine and need something that'll play nice with both
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 11, 2025, 4:25 PM
Nylon and polyurethane are both fair game here. The adapter is rated for use across all common tubing types including nylon, polyethylene, PVC, and polyurethane up to 90A durometer. So running mixed lines off the same machine shouldn't be a problem as long as the sizes line up on your end.
