pump's got an adjustable max displacement stop on it -- what does that actually do for you out in the field?

That feature lets you set a hard limit on how far the pump strokes, so you can dial in the maximum output to match what your system actually needs. Real handy when you're running something like a metal forming press or injection molder where you don't want the pump pushing more flow than the circuit calls for. Instead of relying purely on downstream controls, you've got a mechanical cap right at the pump itself.
