Vickers PVM018 Pump 1.1 CIPR

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Vickers PVM018 Pump 1.1 CIPR is an open circuit piston pump suited for applications across mining machinery, injection molding machines, metal forming, metal cutting equipment, oil and gas equipment, and conveyor lines.

Part of the Vickers PVM Series by Danfoss/Eaton, this pump delivers 50% less noise compared to conventional piston pump designs, making it well-suited for noise-sensitive production environments. It carries Pro-FX ready capability and is noted for consistent performance across variable load conditions.

The unit features an adjustable maximum displacement stop and contains a single shaft seal. With a product width of 5.66 inches, it fits within the compact footprint typical of the PVM Series frame. These characteristics make it a practical selection for primary metals processing and other continuous-duty industrial applications.

Question by: Chad G on Oct 23, 2025, 12:10 PM
What sort of equipment would this Vickers pump typically go into?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 25, 2025, 6:10 AM
Real-world applications for this Vickers PVM018 pump include mining machinery, injection molding machines, metal forming, metal cutting equipment, oil and gas equipment, and conveyor lines. It's also noted for primary metals processing.
Question by: Neil W on Jul 17, 2025, 3:29 PM
We run injection molding equipment pretty much around the clock and noise is always a concern on the floor. how much quieter is this pump compared to a standard piston pump?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 18, 2025, 4:50 PM
Compared to conventional piston pump designs, this one puts out 50% less noise. For a continuous production floor where operators are working nearby all shift, that's a meaningful difference. The PVM018 is built specifically for demanding industrial duty, so it's not just quieter at startup but across variable load conditions as well. Injection molding is one of the applications it's rated for, so you're in good shape there.
