Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Gene K on Apr 7, 2026, 2:26 PM
Wondering what kind of machinery this pump is typically used on?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 8, 2026, 5:17 PM
This Vickers PVM series pump is suited for some pretty heavy-duty applications like metal forming and cutting, injection molding, oil and gas equipment, conveyor lines, primary metals processing, and even mining machinery.
Question by: Sherry C on Dec 28, 2025, 7:28 PM
pump's got that 50% noise reduction claim on it, does that actually hold up in a real shop floor setup, or is that just spec sheet talk?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 30, 2025, 3:04 PM
For a production floor running multiple machines, that noise reduction is one of the more practical things about this pump. The PVM Series was built with that improvement over conventional piston pump designs, so it's not just a marketing number. In environments where operators are working nearby all shift long, running a quieter pump makes a real difference in ambient noise levels without needing extra enclosures or isolation measures.
