Question by: Kirk M on Jan 19, 2026, 9:10 PM
We run a pretty high-cycle injection molding line and noise is always a complaint from the floor. Does this pump actually make a noticeable difference or is that just marketing talk?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 21, 2026, 4:24 PM
Fifty percent less noise compared to conventional piston pump designs is the rated reduction on this unit, and that comes from the engineering behind the PVM Series rather than just a spec sheet claim. On a busy molding floor where machines run shift after shift, that kind of acoustic improvement tends to be noticeable in practice. It won't turn your facility into a quiet room, but operators working near the equipment will feel the difference over a long shift.

reckon this'll hold up okay in a metal forming shop, where it's pretty much running all day long?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 5, 2025, 3:48 PM
Application data shows this Vickers PVM series pump is indeed used in metal forming equipment, along with metal cutting and primary metals processing, so it’s designed for that kind of continuous, high-cycle use.
