pump's got "Pro-FX ready" listed as a feature, what does that actually mean for how it runs?

For equipment that uses proportional or programmable hydraulic control, that compatibility means you can tie this pump into those systems without needing additional interface hardware. If your machine runs more traditional fixed controls, it won't hurt anything, but the Pro-FX capability just won't come into play.
