running one of these on an injection molding press and wondering if the noise level is gonna be a problem for the guys on the floor. these pumps quiet or what?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 23, 2025, 6:52 AM
Noise is actually one of the stronger selling points on the PVM Series. Compared to conventional piston pump designs, this series runs at 50% lower noise levels, which makes a real difference in a production floor environment where machines are running close together and shift workers are nearby all day. For injection molding specifically, that reduced acoustic output is one of the reasons this pump line gets spec'd into that application pretty regularly.
