Designed for efficiency in hydraulic and fluid transfer applications, the Eaton Aeroquip FF Series Quick Disconnect Couplings Socket ensures seamless connection and disconnection without the need for special tools. This female half coupling is crafted from durable carbon steel, allowing it to withstand demanding environments in construction, agriculture, utility vehicles, on-highway vehicles, and stationary in-plant hydraulics. Its flat face internal connection type minimizes fluid loss during disconnection, making it ideal for systems requiring clean, efficient fluid transfer.
With a flow rate of 20.3 gallons per minute, this socket is engineered to exceed ISO 16028 operating pressures, ensuring reliable performance. The product features a sleeve lock safety mechanism and is compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23 EC Article 3.3, RoHS, and REACH standards, underlining its high-quality construction. This socket is interchangeable with HTMA couplings in the 3/8” size, providing versatility across various systems. Its NBR+AU seal material further enhances its durability and reliability in fluid transfer applications.

got a 1/2 inch BSPP port on my hydraulic manifold and need a flat face socket to hook up to it -- will this one mate up right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2025, 6:17 AM
For a 1/2 inch BSPP female port on a manifold, this socket is built to connect directly to it. The coupling carries a BSPP end connection at the 1/2 inch size and uses a flat face internal design, so it seats flush and seals properly against a matching flat face surface. The sleeve lock holds the connection secure once engaged, and no tools are needed to make or break the connection.
