Eaton Aeroquip's Socket is a female half quick disconnect coupling designed for hydraulic and fluid transfer applications. This flat face internal connection features a push-to-connect end type and a BSPP end type, both female. The quick connect and disconnect design requires no special tools and exceeds ISO 16028 operating pressures.
Constructed from carbon steel with NBR+AU seals, this socket is suitable for use in construction, agriculture, utility, and on-highway vehicles, as well as stationary in-plant hydraulic systems. It is compliant with European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97 /23 EC Article 3.3, REACH, and RoHS standards. The 0.75 end size 2 and a torque rating of 43.8 lb/ft ensure secure and reliable connections. It is also interchangeable with HTMA couplings in the 3/8” size. It has a minimum working temperature of -13 degrees fahrenheit and a flow rate of 20.3 gallons per minute.
