Hey, will this here reducer fit right if my hydraulic setup uses M42 and M36 DIN tubes? Just wanna make sure before I order.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 8, 2025, 3:19 PM
Yes, it's designed to connect exactly those sizes – a female M42 x 2.0 DIN tube to a male M36 x 2.0 DIN tube. It's made for that specific purpose.
Question by: Cheryl P on Mar 27, 2026, 3:08 PM
got a din tube setup with M42 x 2.0 on one side and M36 x 2.0 on the other. is this the right reducer to tie those together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 29, 2026, 11:37 AM
With a female M42 x 2.0 DIN tube end and a male M36 x 2.0 DIN tube end, this reducer is built specifically to connect those two DIN tube thread sizes in a straight run.
Question by: Donna W on Jun 23, 2025, 10:25 AM
What exactly is the thread setup on this reducer? Trying to figure out which end connects to which line before I order.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 25, 2025, 6:26 AM
One end carries a female M42 x 2.0 DIN tube connection and the other end is a male M36 x 2.0 DIN tube connection. So the larger female end accepts the M42 tube and the smaller male end goes into the M36 port. Both sides run a 2.0mm thread pitch, which keeps the connection straightforward once you know which line is which.
