got a 1/4 line on both sides, is this the union that’ll tie em together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 6, 2025, 6:38 AM
For joining two same-size lines, this part is a male-to-male union adapter with 1/4 inch ends on both sides, and both ends are meant for line, hose, or tube connections.

So, this is just a brass adapter for copper tubing, right? Just want to make sure I'm lookin' at the right thing.
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 28, 2026, 2:27 PM
Correct, this Eaton Aeroquip adapter is designed to connect copper tubing. It's a union, meaning it joins two pieces of tubing together.
Question by: Lee K on Oct 5, 2025, 9:18 PM
what's this adapter made out of, and will it hold up to some moisture and rust over time?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 7, 2025, 6:02 AM
Brass construction gives it a natural edge against corrosion, and on top of that it carries a Dura-Kote plating that adds another layer of protection. For environments where moisture or mild corrosives are a regular concern, that combination holds up well.
