Question by: Dustin S on Nov 20, 2025, 6:45 PM
Trying to replace a tee fitting on my copper air line. Is this one a male run tee for tubing, and what sizes are the three ends?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 22, 2025, 6:56 AM
For copper tubing air brake connections, it’s a male run tee style adapter. Two of the tube ends are 3/8 inch (0.375) and the male end is 1/4 inch (0.25), with the ends called out as line hose tube on the two tube sides and NPTF male on the third end.
Question by: Ronnie B on Oct 20, 2025, 8:39 PM
what all sizes are we talking on this tee adapter, the run and the branch both?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 22, 2025, 6:06 AM
The run ports on both ends measure 3/8 inch and the branch port coming off the side is 1/4 inch. It's a male NPTF configuration on all three ends, so you're working with threaded connections throughout. Brass construction, and it carries Dura-Kote plating to hold up against corrosion better than a standard bare brass fitting would.
Question by: Lyle C on Nov 3, 2025, 4:33 PM
What size tubing does this tee adapter work with? I'm seeing a couple of different sizes listed.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 5, 2025, 6:43 AM
This Eaton brass adapter is designed to connect copper tubing with a 3/8 inch (0.375) outer diameter to a 1/4 inch (0.25) line.
