What size are the threads on this swivel?

You've got a 3/4-14 male NPTF thread on one side and a 1/2-14 female NPSM swivel on the other.

what's the thread setup on this fitting, is the male end a standard pipe thread or something different?

The male end runs a 3/4-14 NPTF thread, which is a dry-seal pipe thread built to SAE J476. The female swivel side is 1/2-14 NPSM, covered under SAE J514. So you've got two different thread types and two different sizes working together in one straight connector, which is pretty common when you're hydraulic connections between components that weren't originally spec'd to match up.

trying to hook a 3/4-14 male pipe thread into a 1/2-14 female swivel, is that what this fitting is?
