Question by: Lynn H on Dec 19, 2025, 12:23 PM
What kind of threads are on each end of this adapter, and are both ends the same size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 21, 2025, 8:30 AM
Both ends are 3/4-14, but they're not the same thread type. One end is a Male NPTF thread built to SAE J476 spec, and the other is a Female NPSM Swivel thread built to SAE J514. So you've got a dry-seal tapered male on one side and a swivel female on the other, which is real handy when you need some rotational flexibility at the connection point without having to fight the line into position.

Reckon this'll hold up to a steady 3000 PSI? Just wanna make sure before I order a bunch.

Yes, sir. This adapter is rated for a maximum dynamic pressure of 3000 PSI, so it should handle that just fine.
