got a 1-11-1/2 male NPTF port on one side and need a female swivel on the other. is this the straight adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 14, 2025, 10:13 AM
It matches that setup. One end is a male NPTF thread in 1-11-1/2 per SAE J476, and the other end is a female NPSM swivel thread in 1-11-1/2 per SAE J514, in a straight steel straight-body adapter.
Question by: Carl R on Nov 11, 2025, 6:11 AM
Running a 1-inch NPTF male end into a swivel fitting on the female side, does the thread sizing on this Brennan adapter line up right for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 12, 2025, 6:26 PM
Both ends of this adapter are sized at 1-11/2, so a 1-inch NPTF male thread on one side and the female NPSM swivel on the other should mate up without any modification. The male end follows SAE J476 and the female swivel end is built to SAE J514, which are standard industrial specs that keep things compatible across most common hydraulic setups.

Is this fitting pretty standard as far as threads go?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 16, 2025, 5:59 PM
This adapter uses a male NPTF thread that meets SAE J476 specs and a female NPSM swivel thread to SAE J514 standards.
