What's the width of the flats on each end of this fitting? I need to get my wrenches right.

The wrench flats are different sizes. One side (Adaptall Ch1) is 33mm wide, and the other side (Adaptall Ch2) is 36mm.

both sides on this fitting are DIN tube connections, does that mean I can't use it to tie into anything that ain't DIN on either end?

Correct. Both sides carry a DIN tube connection, M30 X 2.0 thread with an S20 size, so you'd need DIN-compatible fittings on each end to make a proper connection. One side is male and the other is female, which is what the swivel designation refers to, but neither side crosses over to a different thread standard. If your existing lines are DIN, you're in good shape. If not, you'd need an adapter somewhere else in the line.
