The Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter is rated for use in temperatures as low as -40°F, though it is not recommended for environments where temperatures exceed +200°F or where battery acid may contact the tubing.

What size is this fitting, exactly? I'm having a heck of a time matching it up.

This adapter connects a 1/4 in. UNF female thread to a 1/2 in. hose or tube female end. The .5313 is a more precise measurement of the 1/2 inch end.
