Danfoss / Eaton air brake connectors for nylon tubing are crafted from durable brass. These connectors are suitable for air brake systems where temperatures do not exceed +200F and they should be kept free from potential battery acid exposure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Featuring Dura-Kote plating these connectors provide corrosion resistance and are compliant with SAE 100102BA and DOT FMVSS 571106 standards. The design flexibility allows for a variety of styles to be chosen from supporting higher operating pressures that exceed SAE standards.
The product includes a male 1/2" NPTF connection and a female 3/4" line/hose/tube connection making these connectors versatile for various industrial applications. Constructed from brass the product ensures longevity and strength even under demanding conditions.

Question by: Connie P on Nov 23, 2025, 6:12 AM
Can I use this with somethin' other than air brake lines or will it not hold?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 24, 2025, 6:55 AM
Designed for air brake systems using nylon tubing, this connector isn't recommended for other applications, especially where temps exceed +200°F or battery acid is present.
Question by: Wes E on Apr 12, 2025, 4:45 PM
got nylon air brake line and need a straight fitting, is this one 1/2 npt on one side and -12 on the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 14, 2025, 11:15 AM
For a straight adapter setup, it gives you a male 1/2 inch NPTF connection on one end and a female 3/4 inch line, hose, or tube connection on the other, listed as -12.

these rated for air brake lines on a heavy truck? seen some connectors fail early from corrosion and just wanna make sure these hold up
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 4, 2026, 6:22 AM
Brass construction with Dura-Kote plating gives these connectors strong corrosion resistance, which is exactly why they're a common pick for air brake applications on heavy equipment. They meet both SAE J1 00102BA and DOT FMVSS 571106 standards, so they're built to handle the demands of air brake systems. One thing worth knowing upfront: keep them away from any situation where battery acid could drip onto the tubing. That's a hard limit on where these should be used, and ignoring it will shorten their life fast.
