Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter

Description & Features

Designed for air brake systems, this brass straight adapter connects a 1/4 in. NPTF male thread to a 1/4 in. female hose/tube end, making it well-suited for nylon tubing installations where operating temperatures do not exceed +200°F. Rated for use down to -40°F, the Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter is certified to SAE J1102BA and compliant with DOT FMVSS 571.106, confirming it meets established standards for air brake circuit applications.

Manufactured under the Aeroquip brand, the adapter features Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance and is built to handle operating pressures above baseline SAE standards. Brass construction contributes to durability across a wide temperature range, and the straight configuration keeps routing straightforward in tight installations. Note that this fitting is not recommended for use where battery acid contact with the tubing is possible.
