This brass connector is suitable for air brake systems, provided temperatures do not exceed +200°F and battery acid cannot drip on the tubing.

The DANFOSS / EATON BRASS 3/8 MNPT X -4 AIR B features Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance and design flexibility. It complies with DOT FMVSS 571106 and is certified to SAE 100102BA standards. This straight adapter has a 3/8-inch male NPTF end and a -4 female hose/pipe/tube end and is designed to operate at higher pressures than SAE standards require. It is suitable for use in air brake systems.
