Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter

Description & Features

Rated for air brake systems operating down to -40°F, this brass straight adapter connects a 1/2 in. NPTF male end to a 1/2 in. hose or tube female end, making it a reliable choice for commercial vehicle brake line assemblies that meet DOT FMVSS 571.106 and SAE J1019/J2BA certification requirements. The brass construction is finished with Dura-Kote plating, providing corrosion resistance beyond standard levels.

The Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter is part of the Aeroquip straight adapter line, offering design flexibility across a wide range of configurations. It is rated for use in air brake applications where temperatures do not exceed +200°F and where exposure to battery acid on the tubing is not a factor. With a hex size of 0.813 in. on the female end, the fitting is sized for standard tooling.

Reckon this'll hold up alright in an air brake system? Just wanna make sure before I order.

This brass adapter is rated specifically for air brake systems that operate down to -40°F and don't exceed +200°F. Also, it's not meant for spots where battery acid might drip on the tubing.
