Rated at 0.738 cu in/rev displacement and up to 3,600 RPM, the 1500M Series Gear Motor is a compact, bi-rotational unit suited for a wide range of mobile and industrial hydraulic drive applications. The 2-bolt SAE A mounting flange and 5/8 in. straight keyed shaft (2.00 in. long) support straightforward integration into standard hydraulic drive setups. Rear ports are 3/4 NPT, with a maximum system pressure of 2,000 PSI.

Hydreco's 1500M Series features heavy-duty iron castings and a four-bolt internal assembly design that maintains alignment under pressure, reducing wear on internal components. Pressure-balanced wear plates support consistent volumetric efficiency, while the pressure-lubricated roller bearing design contributes to durability even in moderate contamination conditions. A mechanical face seal enables high back pressure tolerance without requiring a case drain. The shielded outboard bearing on this model allows limited shaft side loading. Rated flow is 5.8 GPM, and maximum system temperature is 180°F. Anti-wear hydraulic fluid is recommended, with 10-micron absolute filtration for optimal service life.

runs at 3600 RPM, but is that continuous or just a peak number for this motor?

At 0.738 cubic inches per revolution, the rated speed for this unit tops out at 3600 RPM. That figure is based on anti-wear hydraulic fluid, so if you're running something different, the safe operating range could shift. Keeping your system filtered to 10 micron absolute will do the most to protect it at higher speeds and extend the life of the internal components.

Will this gear motor work for a hydraulic log splitter?

got a 2-bolt SAE A mount and need rear ports, is this one set up that way or am i lookin at the wrong motor
