Built for demanding hydraulic applications, this Continental Hydraulics Inc unit features heavy-duty iron castings rated to 2000 PSI and a pressure-lubricated roller bearing design that tolerates contamination better than standard gear motors while remaining fully repairable. Deflecting pressure-balanced wear plates help sustain volumetric efficiency, and the mechanical face seal supports high back pressures without requiring a case drain.

The 1500M Series Gear Motor, 1.18 cu in/rev, 2-Bolt SAE A Mounting Flange, 5/8 St.Keyed x 2.00 Long Shaft, 3/4 NPT Rear Ports, Bi-Rot. delivers a displacement of 1.18 cu in/rev with a rated flow of 8.3 GPM and a maximum speed of 3600 RPM. The 2-bolt SAE A mounting flange and rear 3/4 NPT ports support straightforward integration, while bidirectional rotation adds installation flexibility. A shielded outboard bearing allows limited side loading on the input shaft. Maximum system temperature is 180°F, and 10-micron absolute filtration is recommended for optimal motor life.

does this motor run both directions or is it set one way from the factory?

Bi-rotational right out of the box. You can run it clockwise or counterclockwise without any modification, which makes it a lot more flexible when you're fitting it into an existing system and don't want to reconfigure your hydraulic connections.

got a 2-bolt SAE A mount and rear ports, will this motor bolt up and hook up without me having to get weird adapters?

It uses a 2-bolt SAE A mounting flange and 3/4 NPT rear ports, so it matches equipment set up for that mount pattern and those port threads. The shaft is a 5/8 straight keyed shaft that sticks out 2.00 inches, so you will want your coupling or hub sized for a 5/8 keyed shaft.
