1500M Series Gear Motor, 1.47 cu in/rev, 2-Bolt SAE A Mounting Flange, 5/8 St.Keyed x 2.00 Long Shaft, 3/4 NPT Rear Ports, Bi-Rot.

Description & Features

This Hydreco 1500M Series Gear Motor features a 1.47 cu in/rev displacement and a 2-Bolt SAE A mounting flange. Designed with heavy-duty iron castings, it is rated for pressures up to 2000 PSI.

The bi-rotational gear motor includes 3/4 NPT rear ports and a 5/8 St.Keyed x 2.00 long shaft. It features pressure-lubricated roller bearings, making it contamination resistant and fully repairable. A shielded outboard bearing allows limited side loading of the input shaft, while a mechanical face seal allows for high back pressures without requiring a case drain.

What kind of fluid should I be using in this motor?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 25, 2025, 8:31 PM
Ratings for this gear motor are based on using anti-wear hydraulic fluid. You should contact us if you're considering using other types of fluid so we can help you determine compatibility.

Motor runs both directions on this one, right? Got a application where it needs to reverse and just want to make sure before we order.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 4, 2026, 9:42 PM
bi-rotational is confirmed on this unit. You can run it in either direction without any modification, which makes it a solid fit for reversing applications. The 3/4 NPT rear ports are set up to handle flow from either side, so no special hydraulic connections tricks are needed to make the reversal work.
