Question by: Gene P on Feb 18, 2026, 1:46 PM
fitting's rated to 6,000 PSI, that hold up steady under continuous hydraulic pressure or is that more of a peak number?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 20, 2026, 6:31 AM
6,000 PSI is the maximum dynamic pressure rating for this fitting, meaning it reflects operating conditions rather than just a momentary spike tolerance. Forged steel construction gives it solid wall integrity under sustained load, so it handles continuous high-pressure hydraulic systems without the concerns you'd have with cast alternatives. Just make sure your line and mating fittings are rated to match.

got a hose end that’s 3/8-18 swivel, will this elbow mate up to it and what’s on the other side
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 8, 2026, 8:28 AM
On the swivel side it has a female NPSM swivel thread in 3/8-18 (SAE J514). The other end is a male NPTF in 1/4-18 (SAE J476).
