#6 MP X #6 FP Swivel 90*

Description & Features

For demanding hydraulic applications this elbow forged connector offers robustness and reliability.

Manufactured by Brennan Industries Inc it features a forged steel material that ensures durability under high-pressure conditions. The product adheres to SAE J476 and SAE J514 specifications guaranteeing standardized performance.

The elbow design enables a 90-degree fluid direction change suitable for compact installations where space is constrained.

With a maximum dynamic pressure rating of 6 000 psi it excels in industrial environments. The centerline lengths and overall dimensions ensure compatibility in various configurations.

The male NPTF and female NPSM swivel threads offer secure and leak-proof connections.

The connectors dimensions include a C Hex 1 measure of 0.875 mm and overall length of 1.220 mm.

Sturdy construction supports long-term usage and operational efficiency.

Question by: Daryl M on Sep 4, 2025, 6:24 PM
got a tight spot on a hydraulic line, is this the kind of elbow that’ll turn the flow 90 degrees without taking up a bunch of room?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 5, 2025, 9:43 PM
For compact routing, the 90 degree elbow layout lets you change direction while keeping the overall length to 1.220 inches, with centerline lengths of 1.200 and 0.990 inches.
Question by: Harvey M on Apr 6, 2026, 4:56 PM
What kind of threads are on each end of this fitting, and are they gonna seal up tight without a bunch of extra tape or sealant?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 7, 2026, 6:30 PM
One end is a male NPTF thread, the other is a female NPSM swivel, both sized at 3/8-18. NPTF threads are a dry-seal design, meaning the thread form itself creates the seal under pressure rather than relying on tape or compound. The swivel end follows SAE J514, which is a standard built around leak-free hydraulic connections. For most hydraulic line work, you won't need additional sealant on the NPTF side to get a solid seal.
Question by: Ross M on May 3, 2025, 2:29 PM
Is this elbow fitting gonna hold up if it's runnin' all day, or is it more for light duty?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 4, 2025, 8:06 PM
Forged steel construction means this elbow can handle demanding hydraulic jobs. It's rated for dynamic pressures up to 6,000 psi, so it should hold up well for continuous use in most industrial setups.
