Question by: Randy H on Nov 7, 2025, 7:30 PM
got a 1/2 NPTF male fitting on my manifold block and need to swing a line off at 90 degrees with a swivel end, this the right piece for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 9, 2025, 12:56 PM
That setup is exactly what this adapter is built for. One end threads in as a 1/2-14 Male NPTF, which is your dry-seal pipe thread, and the other end gives you a 1/2-14 Female NPSM Swivel so the hose or line can rotate during assembly without twisting. The 90 degree bend handles the direction change right at the port. Forged steel construction and a 5,000 PSI dynamic pressure rating make it solid enough for most high-pressure hydraulic work.
Question by: Randy R on Jun 10, 2025, 10:34 AM
Reckon this 90-degree elbow will hold up in a hydraulic system pushing 5000 PSI?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 12, 2025, 7:42 AM
Forged steel construction means it's designed to handle dynamic pressures up to 5000 PSI, so it should be right at home in that kind of system.
