Forged from stainless steel, this 1/2-14 90-degree elbow fitting connects a Male NPTF thread (conforming to SAE J476) to a Female NPSM Swivel thread (conforming to SAE J514), making it well suited for hydraulic and fluid line applications where a right-angle transition between these thread forms is required. The swivel end simplifies installation by allowing rotation during make-up without twisting the connected line.

The MP-FPS 90 DEG is rated to 5,000 PSI maximum dynamic pressure and belongs to Brennan Industries' 1501-FG series. Forged stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in demanding service environments. Both thread ends are 1/2-14, with the Male NPTF port measuring 0.531 in. drill and the Female NPSM Swivel port at 0.440 in. drill. If I'm connecting this to a hydraulic line, is it okay for general hydraulic applications?
