i’ve got a tight spot on a hose run, is this a 45 degree elbow with a swivel on the female side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 5, 2025, 8:54 AM
For routing around obstructions, it uses a 45 degree elbow body and the B2 end is a female NPSM swivel thread. The other end is a male NPTF (B1), so you get a fixed male pipe thread on one side and a swivel female on the other.

got a 3/8-18 NPTF male fitting on my equipment and need a 45 elbow to swing the line around a bracket, will this one mate up right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 29, 2025, 5:40 PM
Both thread ends on this fitting are 3/8-18, so the male NPTF side will thread directly into a 3/8-18 female NPTF port without any adapter in between. The 45-degree angle gives you that directional change to route around obstructions, and the forged steel construction holds up to 6,000 psi dynamic pressure, which covers most standard hydraulic circuit demands at that line size.

Can you tell me what kind of material this fitting is made out of?

It's made from forged steel, so it's pretty durable.
