16MP-20FPS 45 DEG Elbow

Description & Features

Forged steel construction makes the 16MP-20FPS 45 DEG Elbow a durable choice for industrial hydraulic systems requiring a directional change between differently sized threaded connections. This 45-degree elbow transitions from a 1-11½ Male Nptf port (per SAE J476) to a 1-1/4-11½ Female Npsm Swivel port (per SAE J514), accommodating misalignment through its swivel end while maintaining a rated maximum dynamic pressure of 2,000 PSI.

Manufactured by Brennan Industries under the 1503-Fg series, this adapter is built from forged steel for structural integrity under sustained hydraulic pressure. The swivel female end simplifies assembly in tight or fixed-line installations where rotational adjustment is needed during connection. Supplied by Om Industrial Products Corp, this fitting is suited for use in hydraulic circuits where compact routing and reliable thread engagement are priorities.

Question by: Roy Y on May 26, 2025, 6:25 PM
got a 1-11-1/2 male nptf on one side and need to swing into a 1-1/4-11-1/2 female swivel, is that what this elbow is?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 28, 2025, 2:55 PM
For fitment, it is a 45 degree forged steel elbow with a male NPTF thread on B1 (1-11-1/2, SAE J476) and a female NPSM swivel on B2 (1-1/4-11-1/2, SAE J514).
Question by: Hubert R on Jul 5, 2025, 7:03 AM
what's the pressure rating on this elbow, and is it safe for dynamic hydraulic lines?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 6, 2025, 8:05 AM
Rated at 2,000 PSI maximum dynamic pressure, so it holds up fine in active hydraulic circuits where pressure is constantly cycling. The forged steel construction keeps it solid under that kind of load. Just make sure your system stays within that ceiling and you won't have any issues.

What's the pressure rating on this elbow fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 5, 2025, 5:35 PM
Maximum dynamic pressure is rated to 2,000 psi.
