Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this 3/4" adapter connects a male O-Ring Face Seal (Orfs) thread on one end to a female JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) thread on the other. The Orfs side carries a 1-13/16 - 12 UN thread callout, while the female JIS side is specified at G 3/4 - 14, making this fitting suitable for bridging hydraulic circuits that combine these two common thread standards.

Supplied by Adaptall, the Male Orfs X Female Jis adapter measures 63.7mm in length with a 35mm ch width. Its straight geometry suits inline connections where a direct axis-to-axis transition is required. trying to hook an ORFS hose up to a JIS port. is this the right adapter, or am i mixing up thread types?

For an inline ORFS to JIS connection, this adapter bridges a male ORFS end to a female JIS end. Side 1 is male ORFS with a 1-13/16 - 12 UN thread callout, and side 2 is female JIS with a G 3/4 - 14 callout, both in the 3/4 inch size.

Will this here adapter fit a regular ol' 3/4" pipe?

No, this adapter won't fit a standard 3/4" pipe thread. The 3/4" size refers to the ORFS and JIS thread types it connects, not a typical NPT pipe thread.
