Is this nut plastic? Description just says molded nylon, wanted to make sure.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 26, 2025, 8:17 AM
That's correct, this compression nut is made from molded nylon.
Question by: Lance B on Jan 30, 2026, 9:48 PM
Is this the compression nut that goes with the 1561X series fittings, or do I need something different for that application?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 1, 2026, 2:32 PM
this part is built specifically for the Danfoss and Eaton 1561X series, so if you're working with that fitting family, this is the one you want. It's a direct spare part for that line, molded nylon construction, and it carries the Weatherhead sub-brand under Eaton Industrial Hose. Should drop right in as a replacement without any fuss.
