Question by: Gary M on Jul 1, 2025, 4:32 PM
How durable is this motor if I'm using it on a piece of farm equipment that runs pretty much all day during harvest?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 3, 2025, 8:49 AM
Constructed from cast iron, this Char-Lynn MT series motor is durable. It's designed for extended use in agricultural applications such as harvesters.
Question by: Sheila G on May 29, 2025, 6:42 PM
got an auger setup that needs a low speed geroler motor, is this one meant for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 31, 2025, 7:09 AM
For ag augers and similar low-speed hydraulic drives, this Char-Lynn MT Series spool valve geroler is a common fit. The applications called out include agricultural augers, harvesters, and seeders, plus railroad maintenance equipment.
Question by: Rusty R on Jun 10, 2025, 6:04 AM
got a seeder setup that's been running a different geroler motor and I'm trying to figure out if this one would hold up the same way, what kind of torque output are we talking here?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 11, 2025, 9:00 PM
Running at 174 newton metres of torque, it's a solid performer for seeder applications. That output puts it well within range for the kind of continuous load you'd see on a typical seeder drive. The cast iron construction helps it hold up over time rather than wearing down like lighter-built units tend to do.
