Designed for demanding mobile equipment applications, the Char-Lynn 4K Compact Motor (ADK25AJ06AA000000000000) is a low-speed Geroler-type hydraulic motor built for skid steer loaders, fairway mowers, and harvesters. Cast iron construction provides durability in high-cycle, high-load environments where reliability is critical.
The 4KC Series supports a flow rate of 75 litres per minute and delivers a torque rating of 800 newton metres, making it well suited to wheel drive and similar high-torque, low-speed applications. Available in standard, wheel, and bearingless configurations, it offers installation flexibility across a range of equipment designs. The disc Geroler design is noted for its low pressure drop, which contributes to energy efficiency across the hydraulic circuit.

Question by: Debbie R on Feb 4, 2026, 8:41 PM
flow rate on this one says 75 litres per minute -- is that enough to run wheel drive on a skid steer without bogging down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 6, 2026, 8:40 AM
For wheel drive on a skid steer, 75 litres per minute is right in the wheelhouse for a motor in this class. The 4KC Series is rated at 800 newton metres of torque, so it's built to handle the kind of load you'd see in that application without losing grunt at low speed. The Geroler design also keeps pressure drop lower than most motors in this category, which means less wasted energy across the circuit and better response when you're pushing the machine hard.
