Question by: Ross W on Mar 28, 2025, 6:56 PM
does this plug work with standard NPT fittings or do I need something special on the other end
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 30, 2025, 6:03 AM
The female end of this plug uses a 3/4 inch NPT connection, so it'll thread right into any standard 3/4 NPT port without needing an adapter or special fitting. The male push-to-connect end is what mates with the corresponding FF Series socket. Carbon steel construction and an NBR+AU seal keep it holding up across hydraulic and fluid transfer setups including construction equipment, ag machinery, and on-highway vehicles.
Question by: Rod O on Jul 21, 2025, 4:48 PM
trying to swap out an old 3/8 quick coupler on a skid steer, is this plug the one that’ll interchange with HTMA style
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 22, 2025, 8:28 PM
For 3/8 size quick disconnects, it is listed as interchangeable with HTMA couplings. It is a male half with a flat face internal connection and a sleeve lock, so it fits the same style of flat-face HTMA interchange in that size.
