This Brennan adapter features a Code 61 flange on one end and a JIC (Joint Industry Council) connection on the other. This 90-degree elbow adapter is part of the 1704 series and facilitates a secure connection between different hydraulic components. The 1/2" flange connects to a mating Code 61 flange port, while the 3/4-16 UNF thread connects to a corresponding JIC fitting.

The Brennan ADAPTER CODE 61 X JIC has a 7/8" wrench flat (AF) dimension and L1 and L2 lengths of 2.32" and 1.81" respectively. The tube OD is 1/2".

Got a 90-degree turn I need to make coming off a hydraulic pump and the space is real tight. This a hard elbow or does it have any flex to it?

Hard elbow, no flex at all. The 90-degree angle is fixed, so what you get is a rigid angular connection between the JIC threaded end and the flange side. The threaded end is 3/4-16 UNF and the flange is a 1/2-inch Code 61 connection. If your layout needs that fixed right-angle turn and those sizes match up, it should drop right into place. Just make sure your mounting geometry is set before you torque it down since there's no adjusting the angle after the fact.

got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 UNF and i need to turn into a 1/2 flange with a 90, is this the right adapter?
