Manufactured from chromium-silicon, this compression spring is a genuine Char-Lynn spare part designed for use in Danfoss / Eaton hydraulic motor and valve assemblies. Chromium-silicon construction provides reliable spring force retention and resistance to fatigue under cyclic loading conditions typical in hydraulic applications.
The Danfoss / Eaton Spring is available in a variety of sizes, making it a versatile replacement component across compatible Char-Lynn product lines. With a product width of 0.73, it is suited for maintenance and rebuild work on hydraulic motors where original-specification components are required.

Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Dean M on Feb 8, 2026, 9:01 PM
what's this spring made out of, and is it gonna hold up under regular hydraulic cycling?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 10, 2026, 4:50 PM
Chromium-silicon is the material here, which is a solid choice for compression springs that see repeated load cycles. That alloy is known for resisting fatigue over time, so it's not going to lose its spring force after a few thousand cycles the way cheaper steel can. For hydraulic motor and valve assemblies doing regular work, it holds up well under that kind of repetitive stress.
