The WEBTEC 180 Series Rotary Shear Directional Control Valve, model 180-E0F, is designed for precise directional control in demanding hydraulic systems. Capable of accommodating a maximum flow rate of 15 L/min (4 US gpm) at pressures up to 700 bar (10,000 psi), this valve ensures near-zero leakage for optimal performance. It operates efficiently within a fluid temperature range of -30 to 120°C (-22 to 248°F) and an ambient temperature range of -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F), making it suitable for various industrial environments.

Constructed with a robust aluminum body and a phenolic resin knob, this valve is built to withstand rigorous conditions. Its internal components are made from durable carbon steel, complemented by high-quality NBR seals. The valve is compatible with mineral oils as per ISO 11158, with options for other fluids upon request. Featuring a 3/8” NPTF porting, it integrates seamlessly into existing hydraulic systems.

rated at 10,000 psi, is that continuous or just a peak figure for this valve?

700 bar / 10,000 psi is the maximum rated pressure for the 180-E0F. Rotary shear valves built for directional control in high-pressure hydraulic circuits are generally rated at their working ceiling, not a momentary spike figure. That said, running any valve pinned right at its pressure limit long-term will wear seals faster than operating at a more comfortable margin below it. The NBR seals here are solid for mineral oil service, but thermal and pressure cycling at the extreme end of the range will shorten their service life over time.
