Question by: Kurt T on Jan 27, 2026, 6:48 AM
Does this fitting work for splitting a 3/8 compression line while also tying in a 1/8 male thread port, or is it strictly one or the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 28, 2026, 11:32 AM
That's exactly what it does. The S72-6-2 is a tee configuration, so you get the 3/8 compression connection handling your main line while the 1/8 male thread gives you a branch port off the side. It's a Midland Industries fitting built for hydraulic assemblies where you need to pull flow in two directions from one point without adding a bunch of extra hardware.

got a 3/8 line and need to branch off to a 1/8 male port, is this the right tee?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 13, 2025, 6:49 AM
For splitting a connection in a hydraulic setup, this is a compression tee with a 3/8 inch by 1/8 inch connection size and a male end on the 1/8 side. If your components match those sizes and you are joining compatible parts, it’s built to make a secure, leak-free connection.

Will this tee fitting hold up alright in a hydraulic setup running around 1500 psi?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 21, 2025, 10:55 AM
This compression tee is built with durability in mind for demanding industrial hydraulic environments. It's designed to provide a secure, leak-free connection, which suggests it should handle that pressure, assuming the rest of your system is rated accordingly.
