Designed for air brake system connections, this brass push-to-connect fitting joins 1/4" push-to-connect tubing to a 1/4" female NPT port in a straight swivel configuration. The 1/4 A.B. PTC X 1/4 FNPT Brass Con. is part of the Aeroquip Weatherhead line and carries Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance that exceeds standard industry levels.
Brass construction makes this fitting well suited to air brake applications operating within temperature limits below +200°F. It is not rated for use with fuel, water, or oil, and should not be installed where battery acid exposure to the tubing is possible. The swivel design allows for rotational alignment during installation, and the fitting is engineered to handle operating pressures above SAE standards, offering additional margin for demanding air system environments.
