Designed for air brake system connections, this brass push-to-connect swivel straight adapter features a 3/8 in. push-to-connect inlet and a 1/8 in. female NPTF thread outlet. Part of the Weatherhead line from Aeroquip, the 3/8 A.B. PTC x 1/8 FNPT Brass Con. is suited for air brake applications where operating temperatures remain at or below +200°F and exposure to battery acid, fuel, water, or oil is not a factor.
Brass construction provides reliable durability in compressed air service, while Dura-Kote plating adds corrosion resistance for demanding industrial environments. The swivel straight configuration simplifies installation and alignment, and the fitting is rated to operating pressures above SAE standards. Available across hundreds of styles within the Weatherhead fitting family, this adapter supports flexible system design for a wide range of air brake configurations.

Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Hugh S on Mar 30, 2026, 4:41 PM
Will this fitting hold up if it gets splashed with some grime or maybe a little battery acid sometimes?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 1, 2026, 10:02 AM
Dura-Kote plating gives this fitting good corrosion resistance for industrial settings. But it's really meant for air brake systems that don't have constant exposure to battery acid, fuel, water, or oil.
