Question by: Curt C on Dec 17, 2025, 10:15 AM
Will this work for my truck's air brakes?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 18, 2025, 2:34 PM
This 90° male elbow adapter is designed specifically for air brake systems, so it should be suitable for your truck.
Question by: Roy P on Jun 6, 2025, 10:47 AM
does this hook up to a standard air brake line, or do i need some kinda special fitting on the other end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 7, 2025, 1:49 PM
One end is a push-to-connect that accepts a 5/8-inch line, and the other end is a 1/2-inch NPTF male thread. NPTF is a dry-seal thread, so it forms a pressure-tight seal on its own without tape or sealant when properly torqued into a compatible port. Pretty common setup on air brake systems, which is exactly what this fitting is rated for.
Question by: Dustin W on Dec 25, 2025, 9:07 AM
got a nylon air brake line that’s push-to-connect, is this elbow the right style for that and what’s on the other end
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 27, 2025, 6:49 AM
For air brake systems, this adapter gives you a push-to-connect female end on one side and a male NPTF threaded end on the other, with a 90 degree elbow and swivel style for routing.
