Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter

Description & Features

Designed for air brake system connections, this 1/4 in. push-to-connect by 1/8 in. NPTF male 90° elbow configuration makes the Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter a compact and reliable solution for angled line routing in demanding environments. Constructed from brass and finished with Dura-Kote plating, it provides strong resistance to corrosion across a wide temperature range, rated down to -40°.

Part of the Eaton Aeroquip Weatherhead line, this adapter meets SAE J1131 and SAE AA0302 certifications and is engineered to handle operating pressures above standard SAE requirements. The push-to-connect end simplifies installation while the 90° elbow geometry supports flexible routing in tight or constrained spaces.

Question by: Sherry S on Mar 29, 2025, 5:17 PM
does this thing have a push-to-connect on one end and thread into an NPTF port on the other, or am I reading that wrong?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 30, 2025, 7:26 PM
You're reading it right. One end pushes in with a 1/4 inch push-to-connect fitting and the other end is a 1/8 inch NPTF male thread. The 90 degree elbow body lets you change direction between those two connections, which comes in handy when you're working in tight spots on an air brake system and need to route a line without a hard bend.

This Eaton Aeroquip adapter is made for air brake systems, so it should fit your needs for trailer air lines.

trying to swap out an elbow on my air brake line. is this one a 90 degree push-to-connect to nptf male deal?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 7, 2025, 9:02 AM
You’ve got it. It’s a 90° elbow adapter with a female push to connect end on one side and a male NPTF end on the other.
