90° Male Elbow

Description & Features

Designed for air brake systems, this brass Push-to-Connect / NPTF Male 90° Male Elbow from Eaton Aeroquip's Weatherhead line provides a reliable right-angle transition between a 3/8 in. push-to-connect female end and a 1/4 in. NPTF male thread. The swivel elbow design supports routing flexibility in constrained installations where straight fittings are not practical.

Constructed from brass with Dura-Kote plating, the fitting delivers corrosion resistance suited to demanding air brake environments. It meets SAE J1131 and SAE AA0302 certifications and is rated for operating pressures above standard SAE thresholds. A minimum working temperature of -40°F makes it compatible with cold-climate service conditions. The Weatherhead line offers a broad range of styles, supporting consistent sourcing across varied system configurations.

Question by: Jerry B on Nov 29, 2025, 7:58 AM
got a 3/8 push-to-connect line and need to turn it 90 degrees into a 1/4 nptf port, is this the right elbow?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 1, 2025, 6:28 AM
For that setup, this adapter matches a 3/8 inch push-to-connect end on one side and a 1/4 inch NPTF male thread on the other, in a 90 degree elbow. It is a swivel elbow style, so it’s meant to make routing and orientation easier during assembly.

What kinda pressures can this handle for air brakes, ya know, like what's it built for on the high end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 26, 2025, 8:49 AM
Because it's designed for air brake systems, this elbow adapter exceeds SAE standards for operating pressure.
