Danfoss / Eaton Male BRANCH T SWVL

Description & Features

Constructed from brass with Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance, the Danfoss / Eaton Male Branch T Swvl is a tee adapter combining push-to-connect and male NPTF end configurations in a single fitting. All three ports are sized at 3/8 inch, with two push-to-connect female ends and one male NPTF thread, making it well suited for branching air brake line circuits where a compact, multi-connection solution is needed.

Rated for air brake system use where temperatures do not exceed +200°F, this fitting is not approved for fuel, water, or oil service. Manufactured under the Eaton Aeroquip Weatherhead line, it is built to operating pressures above SAE standards and offers design flexibility within a broad family of compatible fittings and adapters.

Product Questions & Answers (3)

Question by: Duane C on Oct 7, 2025, 4:14 PM
what's this fitting rated for exactly, can I run it on an air brake system year round?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 8, 2025, 9:11 PM
Air brake systems are the intended application for this fitting. One thing to keep in mind is the temperature ceiling. Once you get above 200 degrees Fahrenheit, it's outside the rated range. Battery acid contact is also a no-go, so routing matters if it's anywhere near the battery. Fuel, water, and oil lines are off the table entirely. For standard air brake use within those limits, it's built for the job. The brass construction and Dura-Kote plating hold up well against corrosion in typical service conditions.
Question by: Melvin M on Mar 26, 2025, 6:50 AM
Will this work for brake lines?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 28, 2025, 7:46 AM
Application-wise, this Eaton Aeroquip adapter is intended for air brake systems. Just keep in mind it's not suitable if temperatures exceed +200°F or where battery acid might drip on the tubing. Also, it's not for fuel, water, or oil lines.
Question by: Shawn B on May 26, 2025, 8:38 PM
got a 3/8 push-to-connect air line, will this tee let me branch it off and still have a threaded connection on the run?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 28, 2025, 6:56 AM
Function-wise, it is a swivel tee and Y style adapter that gives you two 3/8 inch push-to-connect ends and one 3/8 inch male NPTF end for the branch. All three ends are listed at 0.375, so it matches 3/8 tubing on the push-to-connect sides and a 3/8 male NPTF on the threaded side.
