Constructed from brass with Dura-Kote plating for corrosion resistance, the Danfoss / Eaton 5/8 P-T-C Blkhd Union is a push-to-connect female to NPTF male union adapter designed for use in air brake system lines. The push-to-connect end accepts 5/8-inch tubing, while the NPTF male end features a 1-inch thread with a 1-inch hex for wrenching. This fitting is rated for higher operating pressures above SAE standards, making it a reliable choice for demanding air line connections.
Offered under the Weatherhead brand by Aeroquip, this union adapter is suitable for air brake applications where temperatures remain at or below +200°F. It is not intended for use with fuel, water, or oil. The Weatherhead line provides design flexibility across hundreds of fitting styles, allowing straightforward integration into existing air brake configurations.

Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Cindy K on May 8, 2025, 4:11 PM
Will this fitting work with a regular air compressor line?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 10, 2025, 8:07 AM
It's designed for use in air brake systems, meeting higher operating pressures than standard SAE fittings. So while it *could* potentially work, it's really intended for those tougher air brake applications, not your typical air compressor setup.
