Question by: Peggy H on Dec 30, 2025, 8:34 PM
does this thing work for air brake lines on a truck or trailer setup? asking cause i need a 1/4 push connect to 1/4 nptf and cant tell if its got the right angle for my routing
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 1, 2026, 9:03 AM
For air brake applications that's exactly what this fitting is built for. The 45 degree angle gives you a gentler bend in tight routing situations compared to a 90, so if you've got lines that need to change direction without kinking or straining the tubing, this one tends to work out well. One end is push-to-connect at 1/4 inch and the other is 1/4 inch NPTF male, so your size pairing is correct.
Question by: Phil M on Feb 16, 2026, 8:58 PM
got a 1/4 push-to-connect line on one side and 1/4 nptf on the other, is that what this elbow is set up for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 18, 2026, 6:04 PM
For air brake systems, this adapter is built with a 1/4 inch Push to Connect female end on one side and a 1/4 inch NPTF male end on the other, set at a 45 degree elbow.
